As I have been teaching through the Book of Revelation, I have often recalled Easter 1996 when I produced a musical production that I called “From Heaven’s View.”
The performance was performed for the West Ridge Christian Church Easter Service 1996. At the time I was servicing West Ridge as Associate Pastor. During my eight years of ministry at West Ridge, I heard more stories of impact from this service than any other event I have been a part of. When I meet friends who were present during my tenure, I still hear recollections from this event.
I would feel more comfortable sharing it if I were able to credit everyone involved. Unfortunately, as your might imagine, there was never a roster, so it depends totally on my memory.
Before sharing the credits as I recall them, the backstory will help you appreciate the goal of Heaven’s View.
By, 1996 my understanding of the primary message of the Book of Revelation was beginning to mature, and I wanted to share the illumination I was enjoying from Revelation Chapters 4 and 5 with the congregation, especially as it relates to Resurrection Sunday.
From Heaven’s View
If you have not heard my teaching on Revelation 4 & 5, I am including a message I preached at The Church Triumphant, (Short Gap, WV) for Easter 1999.
I am also including the Worship Set from the Service in 1996.
Now for the Credits:
Written and produced by: Henry Yoder and Laura Molter
Singers and voices: West Ridge Worship Team; Laura Molter, Worship Leader
Recorded live by: Henry Yoder, Engineer Producer
All instrumentalists were also West Ridge Worship Team
Highlights: Drummer, Derrick Edwards
Worship Leader and Piano, Laura Molter
Tech note: In order to make the crowd sound larger, we pre-recorded several of the songs Pre-Event. We then sang to the recording, and several time it is obvious we lost sync with the tape.
