Strong Covenant Everlasting Covenant — Revealed in New Testament. Not terminated and replaced, but expanded into the fullness of its life. (Like a bulb becoming a flower — the flower is what the bulb was planted for.)

MOSES’ MOTHER

  • Male children were being offered as human sacrifices to the river Nile
  • She was unwilling to do so — floated the child on the river in a basket
  • Likely somewhat clever in that Pharaoh’s daughter may have been superstitious enough to view a child carried by the river as a “god”
  • Final Note: Read Hebrews 11:1-22 to have insight into the faith the men of this book exercised.
