How did we get the Bible? Why do we believe these ancient documents? These are the questions we address on this site.
The Bible is a collection of sixty-six books, authored by about 40 writers, over a period of approximately 1500 years. Yet in spite of the number of contributors to the text, and the diversity of cultures and contexts from which they wrote, there is a consistent and cohesive story that emerges. These facts alone, make The Bible a book like no other, and give reason to take its claims seriously.
There are an amazing number of connections in the text that help us to discover the cohesive story. Chris Harrison has attempted to visualize the inter-relatedness of the Bible at his site. This shows the amazing relationships of the text(s) from beginning to end.
